| Blades
are often considered to be the least important element
in the pad printing process, with the open system. In
fact, their characteristics determine print
optimization and more importantly, the life of the
etched plate. It is for these reasons essential that
blades are manufactured from special high quality
steel with perfectly uniform thickness, and that the
chamfer is made with absolute accurancy. To guarantee
consistent results which are essential to the pad
printing process, Elport-Import import a range of blades with
the above characteristics supplied in a range of
thicknesses and heights to suit every application.
Within
the range there are two types, T
and TS, which are fundamentally different
because of their chamfer. They guarantee uniform
cleaning of the inking surface due to the special
function of the chamfer which can extend the life of a
standard plate and also achieve faster set-up times. |

with solid images that are etched with
screen.

| TOSH doctor blade - type TS
|
| TOSH
type TS blades ara characterized by a chamfer
of uniform thickness. They are manufactured
from special steel and are particularly
suitable for use with photopolymer plates and
0,5 mm steel etched plates. They guarantee
uniform thickness of the inking surface and,
function of the chamfer, greatly extends the
life of a standard plate.
